I am using:

Drupal 5.3
CCK 5.x-1.6-1
CCK Field Permissions 5.x-1.10

Install went ok, setup a custom data type, added a few text fields, set two of the fields to be handled by CCK Field Perms, Then proceeded to try and set in the Access Control list the permissions for roles. The only check box that works ok is the "administer cck field permissions", ALL other check boxes for setting permissions do not work. Setting any of the other check boxes for a field i.e. "Create, Edit, View" return an error when clicking "Save Permissions". The error at the top of the page is "An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator." Then any of checked boxes I set for any of the permissions go back to unchecked. There is no way to set any permissions for roles for a field.

Any fix to this? Or am I doing something wrong???

Thanks,

Dave

It seems that this could have someting to do with your field names / labels. If you are still trying to get his to work, could you list the names and labels of the fields you are trying to access control?

I have the same issue.

It looks like the problem is beacause my field labels have appostrophies in them.

Can this be repaired?
