Hello i dont know if im just having a blonde moment here as i cant see anyone else having my problem. Infact quite the reverse seems to be true where guests are seeing Private content. anyhow...

Ive added a Group content visibility field to my 'post' content type which can be posted in Groups.

0|Default
1|Public
2|Private

Then i created a Private Group. When i create a PUBLIC' post in this Private Group my SITEWIDE members (non group members) can see it ok but sitewide guests do not. Guests can see all the other normal posts, public or just not part of a group.

Can anyone think of where my settings maybe wrong? I really cant think for why guests cant see my Private Groups Public Posts.

All suggestions much appreciated. Thanks

ah it must be a 'views thingy'. anonymous can still view the content if i show them the link to the content. Also i note that on my comments view they can see the comments on the private-public posts. I will need to look more at how to set my views up.

My latest page (and taxonomy pages) have these relationships (not required) maybe theyre overkill.

Relationships
OG membership: OG membership from Node
(OG membership from node) OG membership: Group Node from OG membership

and then in fields i have-
(Group node from OG membership) Content: Title (Group)

Is there simpler way to show the group name a post node belongs to?

thanks
