Open Graph tags don't work on front page

Hi,

I love this module and used it in many projects.

But now I came across a weird bug i can't seem to solve. Open Graph tags work great on all the pages in the project (meaning when i link to them from Facebook, the title, description and image come out great), but when I link to front page, Facebook does not recognize anything, not even the title of my website.

Looking at the code of the page, everything seem in order, and when i link to the node that is the front page (http://idancohen.com/me instead of http://idancohen.com), everything works great. (take a look at the attachment for a demonstration)

That makes me suspect that the problem is not even with Metatag module, but maybe with GlobalRedirect or something, but i hoped someone here could maybe help me understand the problem better.
