My problem is that both at the basic page and at the article
content type, the body (by default) is displayed on the left, above the navigation
menu (second sidebar) and not at the content region.
I want the body of a page to be displayed at the content region
under the page title.
I have looked at the page settings, and all over
the drupal administrative settings and could not
find anything. I am using the proffessional theme
created by Devsaran. Any instructions or ideas how to fix it?

Also take a look at the block admin page, node display settings page, do you have context module affecting things, or maybe page manager overriding node/%?

mheinke CreditAttribution: mheinke commentedwhat modules do you have installed that effect the theme?
because attached is a basic page on a default template.
you will see that the content is in the middle
