Also, the .element-invisible class doesn't seem to be doing the trick on the submit button anymore, causing horizontal scrollbars when placed in the secondary sidebar at various window widths. I've not yet figured out a proper fix for this.

Hmm, wouldn't you know :) #1973456: .element-invisible on element at right causes horizontal scrollbar on desktop or right gap on phone on webkit browsers

From reading the above issue in core, I added the width property. I also reset the padding and margins since bootstrap can sometimes add these. See if this fixes your issue.
