How to configure Apache Solr Multi-site Search?

In localhost, I installed "Apache Solr Multi-site Search & Apache Solr" modules in both sites and configured as same. Those url's for example, localhost/example1 & localhost/example2. I need multi-site search as follows - If I search with any keyword, both sites having that keyword results should display in example1 site.In Search Settings "ACTIVE SEARCH MODULES -> I checked Apache solr search, Node and User" and Default search module "Apache Solr search". But Iam not getting results from another site. In settings.php file, I did "users table" shared (i.e., Single Sign On functionality), Is there any problem with this setting? If not, where is the problem? Please Suggest.
