Please follow Obtaining Git access
and especially Apply for permission to create full projects.

Maintaining does not mean just committing your own patches, but just as much reviewing, testing, and managing those of other contributors.

fenstrat made the first step as I suggested in #1935610-15: url_to_realpath fix, now it's your turn in #1929678: Mail MIME inline images using image_style's do not work with Drupal 7.20.
