A GREAT theme - thanks for contributing it.

The drop-down menu is not working with IE8 properly. The header region is moved to the left. Language switcher doesn't appear in header block.Logo position problem with IE8? Search box also doesn't show correctly.

Did you ever find out a way to get SimpleCorp to show up correctly in IE8? If so, would be very grateful if you could share what you found, I'm struggling with it at the moment.

html5shiv adds new HTML5 elements (which is simple code), but also supports printing HTML5 elements and includes the default styles for HTML5 elements, like block on article and section in lt IE 9
