Integrate with Field Conditional State

This module is working great for my current project, but I have one small problem that's throwing a wrench in my work. I'm using Field Conditional State to make some of the fields on my Field Collection items become visible/invisible based on the value of other fields for the same item. Unfortunately, it looks like the state for the first item in the Field Collection is the only state being considered. I already have an issue in Field Conditional State's queue (#1853032: State is tied to first item in a Field Collection), but perhaps there's something that could be done to fix the issue on Field Collection's end. Any suggestions?
