I recommending using "configuration" everywhere, with "configuration item" where the singular needs to be emphasized.
This would be a good chance to review all UI strings and make them more user friendly.

Changed almost every configurations string used in comments or string constants
Leave only all/some/following configurations throughout the module. Also didn't touch the lib folder.
