Hi,
Is there any way to disable the "Edit Asset" option in the right-click menu on the WYSIWYG at the moment?
What would have to be done to integrate this with the Drupal permissions system?
Thanks,
Paul.

mccrodp CreditAttribution: mccrodp commentedHi,
I'm re-opening this issue as I can't find the permissions that coincide with the description on the above documentation!
The permission "Administer asset types - Create, edit and delete types of assets" seems to be the only one that allows you to be able to browse the assets and 'add to editor' from the WYSIWYG. However this permission also gives access to "Edit Asset" in the WYSIWYG. So, what is the solution proposed in the above documentation? i.e. - to allow the user to browse and add assets to the WYSIWYG body field and disable "Edit Asset".
If this permission doesn't exist out-of-the-box in the Asset module, maybe the questions in the original issue post are valid.
Thanks,
Paul.

It means if you remove both, Edit option will be hidden within contextual menu.
