Release notes

New 2.x branch of Forward that uses tokens. Same as 7.x-2.0-beta2 but adds:

#871648: Link Paths in Summary / Teaser on Sent Email Broken (add Pathologic integration)
#2009950: Hover in IE 9.x does not show the title for the icon
#2030651: Add documentation on sending emails as html
Add warning messages when mail system changes occur
Fix overlay to stop interfering with links generated by modules such as Service Links
Fix views field handler to work in relationships and fix default views

If you installed 7.x-2.0-beta1 or 7.x-2.0-beta2, simply replace those files with this release and then clear the Performance cache. If you are displaying the Forward form in an overlay, you should double check the appearance since a change to the overlay processing was included in this release.

UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS FROM 7.x-1.x

Version 7.x-2.x of Forward is database compatible with the 7.x-1.x branch and is safe to install in its place. However, you must follow these instructions.

Note: Do not disable Forward or uninstall it at any point. Otherwise you will lose your existing Forward tracking data and statistics.

10 Steps
1. Place your site in maintenance mode
2. Backup your Drupal database and your sites folder
3. Completely remove your existing Forward folder
4. Download the new version of Forward into your sites/all/modules folder.
5. Clear your Performance cache
6. Navigate to the Forward configuration page
7. Edit the Thank You settings and all Defaults, replacing each occurrence of !name with [forward:sender] and !site with [site:name]. This is in several different places on the configuration page.
8. Take your site out of maintenance mode.
9. Do a test forward to your own email address like a regular user of your site would.
10. Confirm you receive the appropriate thank you emails and/or forward emails.
