OL Views seems to add data to the drupal JS settings even if map/view is not being displayed? [#2039663]

I'm having a problem where the data displayed on the map in one of my views is still in the drupal settings javascript on every page I visit, regardless of whether or not I'm viewing the map.

I don't know if this is some bug relating to caching possibly or if I'm doing something wrong.

This is a bug in views

No sorry, above patch was already in my copy of Views, but I suppose it may be related.

A lot of the Openlayers code has changed since this was posted. I'm going to postpone this, but please reopen if you are still experiencing this issue with the 7.x-3.x branch. Thanks!
