ideally, this would not be needed if it was possible to re-use FCs within the same bundle (#1569970: Reuse of field collection entity type on more than one collection field?); but as i doubt much will come of that... being able to simply clone an existing FC structure would be very handy.

This would be a much needed feature, since Paragraphs as an alternative does not have Feeds support (outside of basic text fields for now via Feeds Paragraphs, unlike with Field Collections thanks to #1063434: Add Feeds integration to FieldCollection
