services links down show in DS field if no services are set to 'show'

At admin/config/services/service-links/services, I select some services to show in DS displays, by selecting some of the 'Displays' checkboxes.

These have no effect.

If I then select ONE of the 'Show' checkboxes, then ALL the selected services show correctly in DS.
