Make it possible to set more than 9 global filters [#2057873]

After 9 filters in 7 blocks it is not possible to set another new global filter with “global filters in this block” or “optional additional global filters”. This both options no more show in global filter block configuration. After delete a filter the options are show until 1 filter is set again then the options are still not show. Please see attached screenshot.

RTFM --> You can have a total of 9 global filters across 1-9 global filter blocks.

Why? Can I increase this value?

Hello Alexander Hadj,

Thank you for being such a prolific user of View Global Filter!

Frankly I never thought the module would be so popular that anyone would need 10+ global filters!

Thank you so much for wanting the module so much!

The reason that you can't have more than 9 filters is that in the early days, when I developed this module and didn't think anyone would like this module as much as you do, I never catered for the number of filters being longer than 1 digit.

Looks like I have to now!

I have reviewed your module code and apply a patch to use 19 filters (When prepare global_filter_all.js it is possible to use up to 99 filters by correcting settings in other relations). I know your problem now, but think that your functions must refactor to solve the problem correctly. Hope that I do a little bit groundwork for that new feautur. I would be glad if you can review the patch.
