Up until recently the "Add facet for missing values" setting was working fine...the option was set to 'no' and it didn't display the link, which was correct. This week I upgraded Search API from 7.x-1.4 to 7.x-1.7 (and search db api to 7.x-1.0-rc2) and this selection stopped working. Now it displays the empty facet link no matter what the setting is here.

After manually deleting the index and rebuilding it it works. Seems like something that could be improved in the upgrade process here.
