This patch only removes default content from contributing modules if an administrative button is selected at /admin/config/content/defaultcontent_settings

I know this isn't being maintained, but this solution is already working for me since the sort order has been worked out and so I'd rather share this publicly than not.

Did you miss something? The patch just adds a configuration page for a variable and that's it. Is that variable already in use?
