I understand that the Drupal 6 version has been removed and is no longer being supported but for the time being my site is still in Drupal 6. I received the warning:
"Project not supported: This project is no longer supported, and is no longer available for download. Disabling everything included by this project is strongly recommended!" in my Available Updates list.
This is concerning since I have a multi-site of 10 sites and disabling this module will cause unpredictable issues that will take me a long time to test for when I'd rather be spending my time migrating to Drupal 7. Is it really necessary that I immediately disable this project?
Sorry if this is not the appropriate venue for this question but I searched and found nothing addressing this concern. Sincere thanks for any advice.

Garrett Albright CreditAttribution: Garrett Albright commentedOkay, that's a rather misleading and annoying thing for Drupal to tell you. Feel free to ignore it. Sorry for the worry.
The fact is that I haven't really "supported" the D6 version for a long time, so I wanted to get it off the download section.

brad.bulger CreditAttribution: brad.bulger commentedBeing straight about what's supported is great. As a user, though, it'd be preferable to have it listed as a legit release and just add some words to the main page, "6.x is no longer supported" or some such. There are still 6.x sites out here, and without an official release we get things like drush thinking there are no releases for this project. Thanks.

We've got lots of clients who are asking questions (and rightly so) because they make it a part of their job responsibility to make sure that the available updates screen is all green (with some yellow). A red module is scary for them
Is there a specific reason why you need to remove that link for the Drupal 6 download before Drupal 8 is released officially? People can prep clients to say "when Drupal 8 releases Drupal 6 is EOL" and this thread is no concern at all. However, because that time hasn't come yet there is a certain 'the sky is falling' response from the client.
I totally understand if that's not a priority for you, but I just wanted to provide another perspective.
Thanks for the module, we use it on every site :).

csc4 CreditAttribution: csc4 commentedAnother me too - I understood the 'not supported' was for modules which had been security breached and needed removing from site - not mature projects just not developed any more? Some of my clients are thinking Pathologic is a security risk to their site and I have to remove it!!
If you could reconsider would save me and clients a lot of headaches...
Many thanks!
