I don't know if this is actionable, but the download counter for this module has gone a bit crazy lately: https://drupal.org/project/entity_list_field

It went from ~200 downloads to 800+ in a matter of a few days. How do I know this is not legit? Because the module depends on another module that has only been downloaded about 10 times during that span. It's extremely unlikely that the number of downloads for a module quadrupled in a few days while a module that it depends on was only downloaded about 10 times.

I suppose this may be a bot hitting the Entity List Field download link over and over, and I'm not sure if anything can be done about that.

Thanks for responding to the issue, but why was this closed? It seems extremely unlikely the counter is accurate, since it indicates the module has been downloaded nearly 5x more often than a module on which it depends. As of this writing....

entity_list_field -- 4400 downloads
entity_lister -- 936 downloads

It just seems very unlikely, since it is impossible to install the former without the latter.

My bad. I was checking the usage stats. Duh.

"Downloads" are a pretty crude metric the way they are measured. They are basically measured on any hit whatsoever, so its plausible that a bot hit your module and drove the counts up. Usage statistics are the valuable metric. Additionally, since this happened a while ago, we dont have a way to go back and find out if they were legitamate hits or not.
