Catch were tasked with creating a series of websites to showcase property developments by Mount Anvil across London. The Filaments was the first in the suite to be released and the first site to go live.
Why Drupal was chosen:
Drupal was chosen as it provides a flexible framework for us to be able to integrate with SiteStream, the company's internal IT system. A sophisticated content management system was also required that enabled content to be displayed in different ways.
Drupal modules allowed us to build an Apartment Finder and Interactive Map of the local area with ease. We also wrote our own Social Content module to import the latest social media content allowing 360 promotion of the site across the web.
Describe the project (goals, requirements and outcome):
Mount Anvil challenged Catch to build them a suite of fully responsive websites to support their range of property developments across London. Each sites needed to showcase the stunning architecture of the developments as well as keeping potential buyers up-to-date with the latest news from each site as it happens and maintain the individual identity of each development.
Buyers need to be able to check the site on the go, so it had to be fully responsive on both mobiles and tablets whilst keeping the fast and reliable functionalities of the desktop site.
The building of an interactive apartment finder was key to the site to help buyers find exactly what they want, able to narrow down to the exact floor they desire to look at.

Why these modules/theme/distribution were chosen:
We used Search API, Views and Facet API as they enable advanced searching and filtering on the development's Apartment Finder. We used Views to display the results. This finder was core to the site.
Geofield was used as it allows content editors to easily configure the items they wish to appear on the Interactive Map.
We used Panels to create flexible layouts. Content editors can also be easily reposition content using the Panels In-Place Editor. This was used on the Location pages to give a streamless look and feel to the pages with ease of editing.
