are there any plans to allow hover images in 2.x?

I would certainly like to give you an answer, but I'm afraid I don't really understand what you mean?

Could you please be a little bit more specific about what you would be "hover images"?

Would that be another module you would like to integrate with Image Link Formatter?
Could you please describe the effect expected? What results would you expect by "hover images"?

Any additional information that you could provide would be greatly appreciated and allow us to give you a more precise and accurate answer.

Hi guys,

No feedback on this issue for more than 3 years.
I would assume an appropriate solution should have already been found by ticket's author.
Additionally, no one else reported any issue that could be similar.

Given the lack of interest shown in this issue, I guess this feature request is most likely not going to make it into module's code.
However, I would certainly invite you to take a closer look at the sandbox module suggested at #2, if you were interested in potentially developing a similar feature.

Therefore, I allowed myself to mark it as Fixed for now, but feel free to re-open it, or post a new ticket, at any time if you have any further objections with the approach suggested in this ticket (we would surely be happy to hear your feedback).
