I'm troubleshooting a slow Drupal site and a couple of times, the ad module settings page has displayed the following messages:

Missing vocabulary node type for advertisements, attempting to auto-fix.
Restoring orphaned ad group configuration.

To the best of my recollection, I've never seen this before. Could this be an effect of the slow site? What could cause this? Never had an issue with this module before today, although it seems to be working OK.

I'm having the same problem. It has come up out of the blue with no apparent cause that I know of. My ads in the system no longer display, so whatever is causing this has broken the module. I tried flushing the ad cache and that did not work. Please help. Version 6.x-2.4 here. No site slowness to speak of.

I just tried installing the latest dev version and that did not fix it either.

The only clue I'm seeing in the system log is that an ad was clicked by an anonymous user at 9:59pm last night. The problem of the ads not displaying was brought to my attention by the client at 10:30pm. So it was still working as of that time at least for someone. The ad clicked was for an expired ad though, one that wasn't displaying on the website. So I have no idea how/why that one was clicked on. Perhaps the "click" on the expired ad caused the whole module to flake out. Working on that theory, I tried deleting that ad from the system entirely, but that did not solve the problem either.

The vocabulary is present in Taxonomy. The term is chosen correctly in all ads. I don't see anything in the configuration of things that is done incorrectly. Everything was working fine with this prior to last night.
