Slideshow broke after upgrading

Hello, I upgraded from rc2 to rc3. Everything seemed fine at first and I continued to work on building additional content types and other things. After a while I noticed that the front-page slideshow is not working. I know this because I restored from a backup and updated again.

I read in the notes that I should review the feature. I did and nothing but honestly I am not quite sure about what to look for. I tried restoring defaults and re-downloading the feature without any luck. Right now I have the same layout but static and without the pager buttons.

How do I fix it?
