Slideshow images don't appear

Hello. I am trying to create a slideshow of fields using Galleria.
The slideshow uses a single image field.

The result is a slideshow frame with normal controls and thumbnails but no slideshow image. The images are displayed as they should be inside the thumbnails yet they don't appear in the slideshow. Instead there is only a loading animation on the top right corner that loops indefinitely.

I have tested the view with Opera 12.16, Firefox 23.0.1, Chrome 29.0.1, Safari 5.1.7, IE8 and IE9 and have had similar results.
Under IE8 I am entitled to a pop-up window that says: "Stack overflow at line: 0".

I don't have this problem when I use Views Slideshow: Cycler.
Also I am somewhat of a Drupal novice. Thank you for your attention.
