One has to wonder why the block_class module (https://drupal.org/project/block_class) needs to exist at all. By that I mean, why should we have to download a module, install it, maintain it for all pertinent sites (that is, we have to update it if/when it changes) - all for such a simple task, when that could easily be incorporated into the block config page.

Actually, when you think about it... that feature should be added anywhere (everywhere) it makes sense in Drupal. I can't count the times I've wanted/needed to tweak one part of a site only to find "generic" css tags (at best).
