I must be wrong... but...
The bar does not show for users who don't have permission to 'access environment indicator'. But when this is set the users can also change the settings for the ei.
Am I wrong? What have I missed?
Thanks.

Stevel CreditAttribution: Stevel commentedAs far as I can see, there are two permissions: 'access environment indicator' and 'administer environment indicator settings'. Are you using the latest release?

e0ipsoHello @bailey86, as @Stevel says there are two different permissions. One is to control the visibility of the indicator, and the other controls who can edit the settings.

bailey86 CreditAttribution: bailey86 commentedI've installed the latest D6 version of EI and I only have 'Access' permission listed.
This is currently making IE fairly ineffective because providing 'Access' is too blunt and allows all users who 'see' an environment indicator to be able to edit EI.
Hopefully I've missed something - but currently only my admin account can see the EI bar.

bailey86 CreditAttribution: bailey86 commentedMarked as a bug as only allowing EI admins to be able to see the EI bar makes it not very useful for ordinary users who want to use a training copy.
