I simply can't get this module to work. The process goes like this...

1. Check radio to add Semantic style to a pane. Next, nothing happens. I have just an empty dialog.
2. Close the dialog and open it again, choose settings. OK.. my config options are finally visible. But all options are expanded so it looks like a mess. Anyway, I sift through them all and configure my settings. Save.
3. View page and the content in the pane does not display.
4. Go back to pane and change style to something else.
5. View page and the content is now showing using the different style.
6. Create a new custom pane. Choose semantic. This time the config options appear and all of the options are properly collapsed. Looks clean and I configure my options.
7. View page and again, no pane content appears.
8. Go back to pane and change style to Panels Extra styles
9. View page and content is displayed.
10. Next, a deep sigh and me very frustrated as I have been wanting desperately to use this module for a year now :o(

I would be happy to do a screencast if you know of a way to do it on Linux.

Checking my log one clue might be Theme hook semantic_panels_render_pane not found.

I hope this helps troubleshoot the problem. I think this is a vital panels supporting module if the problems can be resolved. Cheers Kevin

First of all, what versions of modules and drupal are you using?

The error saying that "semantic_panels_render_pane" is not found indicates that the cache has not been cleared. Try doing that after semantic panels has been enabled.

Also, do this on a clean drupal install with only the needed modules, so semantic panels and its dependencies.

You could try doing a screencast here: http://www.screenr.com/

Hi, thanks for your reply. As a themer, my cache is cleared about hundred times a day ;o) Anyway, I tried it again and the same problem. I will take the time to do a fresh install and test it and build the install up one module at a time testing every step of the way in order to find the culprit if my effort will help you to fix this.
