I have installed and enabled the node export module. I gave permissions for the administrator to export nodes, export own nodes and import nodes.
The node export tab is available and I can successfully export a node in a text.
However there in no such link as Node export:import under add content.
Also typing in the url the path localhost.../node/add/node_export, it throws the error "You are not authorized to access this page"

False alarm, there was another module blocking the node import functionality...

Ooops sorry, I found the problem on my platform... a custom module was explicitly disabling the functionality. Since this custom has been disabled it works great. Sorry for the inconvenience, Alexandre 8)
