Checked on a checkbox

I want to checked on a checkbox when I have already selected a item from another select list.

If I have organic group list and the workbench access section.
When I choose a group is named "Drupal", I want this should automatic checked on a checkbox named "Staff" by the workbench access section list.

Because I can only choose the inputs from the dependent, but not to checked on checkbox or give value to any dependees.

So how would you solve this dependencies?
