CKEditor Images with Colourbox break slideshow and menu elements

Hi - Not sure if this is a theme issue but I think it is. When I create a node with an image in it using ckeditor and colorbox to display the images, the front page slideshow breaks!? Also I have a menu item that uses special menu items no link attribute and this also breaks the themes expanded links section? Any help? This is a major problem! Cheers, Rob.
