when you do an availability search for say "Group size 3 Children 1" > Search for availability
If you then chose 1 unit the Persons default to the max (6)
and children to 0
is there a way for these to inherit from the availability search ? surely this is the way it should work or is it me?

That is the sum of what we are trying to achieve. It is not an unusual use case it is exactly how Rooms should work
