How can I replace a menu item with an image

I'm using superfish for the menu system.
I want to change the text "Home" with an image.
I've tried changing the css using:
li:nth-child(1) and menu li:first-child.
Both will change the Home link, but also change all of the first li as well.

Any suggestions?
