Hi,

I am new in drupal. I am involving in a proyect to develop an avertising website trough drupal.

I have installed Classified add module but I don't know how to create a Classified Ad page by city. For instance, I would like to have a classified ad page to Madrid, other to Barcelona....

Can anyone help me?

The module makes it simple for you: just use the city names as your Ads categories, and you will get one page per city.

But then, i won't be able to create categories in each city.

I am attaching an image to show you what I am trying to do. How can I create new categories within each city?

Three main possibilities:

  • either you create the subcategories as children of /each/ city (but then you cannot create views per-category across cities), and you have the automatic hierarchy of pages provided by the module
  • or you create the categories in another vocabulary, unrelated with the cities, and you can still use the per-city automatic views, possibly using the hierarchy for regions and cities within them, but you need to create the per-category listings yourself using views
  • or you just do not use the built-in lists of the module and create all displays yourself.

I would recommend the second of the three choices, for most simple sites.
