it seems that regex is only for character validation (?), but is it possible to do something with numbers as well? I have 3 number fields and would like to check if they equal 100 alltogether (yes they are percentages ;-)

This sounds like a duplicate of #1545980: Add a rule for summing the values of a set of number fields. If not, please re-open.
