The API is not currently a valid php file. Several functions are included multiple times. I think this is just an oversight and as this file doesn't run it's not a huge deal but it is wrong. It causes the API module to crap out when trying to process it for use in documentation sites which is why I'm pointing it out.

This was fix in #2080171: Postponed tests due to invalid PHP syntax in uuid.api.php
