[SOLVED] No galleries have been set up yet. [#2138859]

When I click on add gallery, I then create my gallery and publish it, however it never displays in the galleries page. All it says is "No galleries have been set up yet. Add a gallery.". I have done Added many galleries and none of them show up under the galleries page. They do however show up under content and work if I open them.

EDIT - The only way I can get it to work is to write a view for it using the views module.

EDIT 2 - I saw that there is no media_gallery_collection in the fields under the Gallery content type... this might be the cause of the problem, now ... how to fix this ?

Fixed

by adding a field to the Gallery content type called "Gallery collection" , machine name "field_gallery_collection" , field type "Term reference", Widget " Select list". Then, edit the select list settings of that field and choose default value "Galleries" , Number of values "unlimited" , vocabulary "Gallery collections" --> save and it works.
