I tried to update entity reference 1.0 to entity reference 1.1, for that I deleted the old version and copied the new version in my modules folder.
Although I run the update script, the drupal system shows that entity reference 1.0 is installed and reminds me to update to entity reference 1.1 (security update).
I can't disable and enable the module because it is used in a field.
What can I do?
Sincerely
Ute

many thanks for your advice. You were right, for some reason I had a copy of entity reference in my library folder (modules). I deleted this copy, but then the admin user interface is not shown anymore (white browser window). I copied then the entity module again into the libraries-modules folder and I get the admin user interface again. Do you have any idea how I can solve that.
I know it is out of topic, but perhaps there is a simple solution.
Because the entity reference module is used in a field I can't disable it...
Many thanks for your advice ...
Sincerely
Ute
