Currently in Commons, trusted contacts handles BOTH posting as a person (similar to a facebook feed) and sending messages to your friends.

But we should allow users to still do private messages without needing a personal facebook style feed. I don't see a use in the reverse case: facebook feed with no private messages, so maybe make one dependent on the other?

Original Message:

I want to deactivate "Post to contacts (private)" but keep private Messages.
If i deactivate Commons Trusted Contacts both is gone.

Can you give me support how to manage them seperately?

This shouldn't be too hard to accomplish. Adding to my queue

We'd want to get some UX validation. Given the significance of the technical and user-facing refactoring and our goal of releasing Commons 3.6 this week, I'm removing from the 3.6 radar.

It still concerns me. Can you take it back on the radar?
