Since custom pane bundles can specify category pane in their definition, it would be nice if the pane add form would default new panes of that type to the specified category.

Helpful little patch. It makes sense to default category to the bundle to help users locate reusable items in the Panels content picker. Applied without issue and works a charm.

Wouldn't be better to be able to specify a different category for content in hook_entity_info_alter?
