Animation options?

As content is loaded it appears at the top of the screen and flies down, I'd like it to fly up from the bottom, or possibly even fade in, I've looked through all the code closely but I can't work out even where to start, could you tell me where the animation comes from and what file I would have to edit? I searched for help but it seems no one has asked this before.
