I'd like to resize the navigation menu, which currently resides in the "first side block". I've tried adjusting the sizes in style.css, but nothing affects what displays in my browser. The menu is a bit too wide and I'd like it shortened. Any help is appreciated.

is your installation online? I don't understand your need. Maybe a screenshot will be helpful.
Thanks

The block diagram describes it as "first side block". The text of each menu item is only say 8 characters long, but the menu block itself (white space and all) is about 20 characters long. I'd like to shrink that size and increase the size of the block where my page text is. How do I do that?
