Issues related to the moderation state and entity translation.

  • Entity translation makes translation to be published, irrelevant of the revision moderation state.
  • Entity translation should be published only if translation is set as published in moderation state select list. It allows the translation to be visible to the user irrespective of the moderation state. Even if my translation is in Draft state or in review it is visible to the user. Issue: it should not be visible until it is published.
  • Another issue, when we click on unpublish this revision it unpublish's the whole node rather then unpublishing the latest revision. Or there should be an option in moderation states to upublish the translation added for the entity rather then putting it back to draft mode.

I am also in a process of creating a module for these defined issues which will work collaboratively with both entity translation and workbench moderation modules.

Any updates on this?

Having the same problem. It looks like entity translation is not looking at the status of it's own table if the original language is published.

I wasn't able to get to your sandbox, but I did find this patch helpful for the issue #2218133: Workbench Moderation and Entity Translation integration.

Sorry, no that patch doesn't help this issue. I'm just not sure how I can go live with a translated, moderated site. How can I get to your patch to try it?

Closing this as duplicate of #2218133: Workbench Moderation and Entity Translation integration, since there has been no activity here for a while and there's no patch here to actually review.
