Patch for Commerce Cart allows single variation title to display

It would be very much appreciated if you could look at a patch made from the module commerce/cart found here: Show attribute for single product in add_to_cart_form and if it's sound, incorporate it into the commerce module. It solved a month's long issue mentioned on drupalcommerce.org
