Not sure why I'm having this issue.
Is Drupalgap not fully available on Google play?
When I try to install through Android browser login it says it is not able to find a compatible device and Asus Nexus 7 shows but is greyed out.
I'd really like to try it out.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Sorry, I'm not sure why it isn't able to be installed on your device. Fortunately/unfortunately there are thousands of Android devices, and I'm not entirely sure why it works for some and not the others.

This reminds me that I need to set up a demonstration available as a web app that can be tried in a Google Chrome browser. I will get that set up shortly and will report back instructions on how to try the demo.

Either way, thanks for your interest in DrupalGap, I hope you try the mobile app dev kit.

I'm still hoping it is a Google play problem not a true incompatibility:-)
In fact Google play on that device doesn't even find drupalgap with a search.
I'm not ready to give up on this yet.
Thanks.

Is there an alternate download site for the android app?

You shouldn't have to use Google Play to install. Typically I install 3rd party apk's via a File Manager (like Asto). As long as you have "Unknown Sources" checked it should install.

Thanks @matermindg, that is true. Unfortunately, the app in Google Play is over one year old and I no longer have the APK. I shall work on updating the app in Google Play and iTunes and will report back here when it's ready.

If it ends up being un-installable again on your device @izmeez, I'll just e-mail you the APK file so you can try it out.

Great. Yes I noticed the item on play.google.com was > 1 year so I figured it was not the latest.

I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks.

It's not compatible with a Huawei Ascend Y210 (Android 4.0.3) either.
