I was unable to add or edit content and then the following post hinted at this module:

After disabling the Hierarchical Select Menu submodule, the issue disappears.
The following error messages would appear preventing the content to be added / edited:
An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator.
Warning: Illegal offset type in isset or empty in _form_validate() (line 1333 of ../includes/form.inc).
Notice: Array to string conversion in devel_watchdog() (line 548 of ../sites/all/modules/devel/devel.module).

GoldThis has been here for 3 years and I am currently unable to replicate.
If people still find this happening please reopen and give details steps to replicate.
