Videoquizzr is a platform from Bauer Digital KG for playing raffles related to recorded videos and finally win a prize. Videoquizzr works on Drupal 7 and has an integrated API to the videoplatform limelight. The backend is made for professional editors who are able to handle with multimedia content.
Why Drupal was chosen:
Drupal was chosen out of two perspective. On the one hand Bauer Digital KG works a lot with Drupal, on the other hand with Drupal the customer's wishes were realizable within this framework.
Describe the project (goals, requirements and outcome):
The goal was to create a video platform where users can play raffles with as many as they want to. From the requirement's perspective the platform should be able to monitor how many times a user plays a quiz and should be able to recommend other quizzes to the user. The user should only be allowed to attend a quiz a certain amount of time. A quiz is related to several raffles the user may attend. There should be several possibilities when a user sees a video. Therefore a special complex logic were implemented into this platform. For editors it was important to use the video platform limelight for integrating videos on the website. A special backend overview had to be implemented so that the editor can easily upload videos to limelight and publish it on the website.

We used (http://drupal.cocomore.com/projects/cocomore-drupal-distribution-cdd). We use it for every project that we start, because it's a great package with the needed modules to start.
The use of a good editor is critical to let the editors built a great site, so we use WYSIWYG with CKEditor.
Views are the main tool to build our presentation structure. Views Load More give us the opportunity to use cool AJAX navigation.
Node Reference is the key to build the right relationship between the different content types so the system performs as desired.
Finally Legal let us create Terms & Conditions to be accepted by the final users, and also create different ones to special scenarios.

One of the main features is the integration of Limelight (http://www.limelight.com) by the field_limelight module
Videos are created and uploaded to Drupal. A self-written module
then loads the video up to limelight and deletes the local variant. There are thus
the infrastructure and functions of Limelight used to watch videos on the platform to deliver.
