I'd like to request my case study be promoted to the featured case studies, as I feel it meets most of the guidelines as outlined here: https://drupal.org/case-studies/guidelines
* The site is live (as of yesterday)
* The content is up to date
* No broken links that we can find
* We've pushed the boundaries of Drupal by using it as a framework, adding custom galleries and other functionality
* There is a detailed write-up of the project
* It's running Drupal 7
Thank you.

I took a look at the site and I have to say it looks fantastic-- I especially love the color changing aspect. However, your case study needs to be bulked up a bit.
When it comes to the case study, we're looking for a lot meat. For example, in the "Why Drupal Was Chosen" site, we'd like a little more information on why Drupal was the best possible choice for this website. What specific features and functionality makes Drupal the natural choice for this website?
You also talked a little bit further down about Google Maps integration. Did you use a module to do this? Did you decide to build in the integration on your own? We want to hear all about how you did it.
I'd like a little more detail on how and why you did what you did. Obviously, the site is really beautiful, and I for one would love to know more about how you pulled it off. You can discuss the process you went through to build your custom sliders, challenges you faced in the project and how you faced them, and so on. When in doubt, follow the formula:
Problems / Challenges > Courses of action > Results achieved
What you have here is a really great start-- now let's dive into the details. For examples of what we're looking for when it comes to featured case studies, check out:

Thank you for your feedback. I've upgraded the page with more information, and a little more 'meat'.
In all honesty, the site didn't provide any particular problems or challenges, so I'm not sure what to add for this. I suppose the slideshow and gallery could be considered challenges, but it's what we do, and so we did it. The specific issues we faced with the slideshow were not Drupal related though, they were JavaScript related, such as caching the images on the users computer in hidden divs, and swapping out the images with the script. The actual explanations would be quite technical, and I don't feel would particularly benefit anyone except JavaScript developers, and are not Drupal related.

leighcan CreditAttribution: leighcan commentedHi Jaypan,
There's quite a big backlog of case studies that should be promoted to featured. Since a lot of our case study reviewers are volunteers it may take a little while for us to circle back around to you, but I assure you we'll get to this as soon as we can.
Best,
Leigh

leighcan CreditAttribution: leighcan commentedHi Jay,
I took a look back through and I can tell you put a lot of work into improving the case study. It's getting close!
Under "Describe the Project", there's a paragraph that starts,
You discuss groups and group-specific pages, as well as a private messaging system. I'm really intrigued about how you did this, and challenges you encountered in the process, if any. How did you build in that functionality? Did you use any specific modules? It's a cool aspect of the project and definitely one that should be spotlighted in the case study.
Let me know if you've got any questions on expanding that portion of the case study. Great work!
Best,
Leigh

Nitpicky thing .... you've mentioned the "outward facing public side, and a private side requiring a login" twice. The sentences are nearly identical. It's fine to keep them where they are, but ideally (for me) the second time would be just an intro to the details of each side.
