Is there anyway of changing the text on the booking formlet submit button to say something other than 'Book Selected Dates' ?

I've searched through all the module code and the database and I can find no reference to the button text.

I guess you mean the text: Book this resource ... as defined on line 671 of the .module file? Override by translating it (non English) or using the stringoverrides module (English).
