Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
Problem/Motivation
I'm trying to learn how to create a theme for Drupal 8 and as a part of that I started porting Chameleon (and Marvin) 7.x-1.x-dev to Drupal 8.
I know Chameleon is not the hippest theme in any sense but it is part of Drupal history and therefore deserves a D8 port.
O yeah, and Bluemarine is already available for D8!
Proposed resolution
Port Chameleon theme to D8
Remaining tasks
- create branch?
- create patch
- review
- test
- discuss improvements (replace table layout
(reviews needed, tests to be written or run, documentation to be written, etc.)

JohnAlbinYou now have maintainer permissions! :-)
JohnAlbinThe branch name for the 8.x port needs to be renamed. Otherwise, you won't be able to make a 8.x-1.x-dev release (and we won't be able to update the version number of this ticket). See https://drupal.org/node/add/project-release/394966
